Master sculptor & illustrator Emma SanCartier otherwise known as ‘Oddfauna’ guides you on a journey to discover your hidden familiar, and shares her secrets to help you bring that creature to life! With Emma’s guidance, you will learn the skills and techniques to design your own miniature creature from polymer clay that represents your personal style & personality. In this class you will be sculpting and painting your own familiar start to finish. After the course you will have the knowledge to build, create, and paint more polymer sculptures at home and leave with your new friend by your side.
Emma SanCartier is an Illustrator and sculptor living in Seattle. Working as a professional artist for 10+ years, Emma has been building a body of work that focuses on fantastical representations of the natural world. Often playing with opposites, Emma’s work can be playful and dark, humorous and emotional.
While illustrating for a diverse range of clients, she has also participated in conventions and gallery shows all over the country. She is currently art directing an indie game based on her OddFauna creatures where each character in the game is hand sculpted.
All supplies for this workshop are included in price. Participants receive class packet and any poly clay sculptures they’ve made in class. A signed waiver is required for this class. We will send it to you once you've registered. Classes are non-refundable, but are transferrable. In the event the class is cancelled your payment will be refunded. We will be following the Washington state Covid-19 recommended guidelines at the time of each class.

There is an all day parking lot across the street from Moth & Myth that costs $10 for all day, the location ishere. You can also find street parking. On Western Ave there is street parking for up to 4 hours for 0.50 cents an hour. Free street parking on Sundays.
