With the Passion Flower Kit, you’ll be assembling your very own tropical flower from start to finish! Follow along with the tutorial video above, or the steps below, to create your paper flower with leaves and vines!
For the assembly, all you’ll need is one Passion Flower Kit, a hot glue gun, and hot glue.
Preparation:
Gently remove the elements of the flower from the backing.
Tip: Rather than pulling up on the various pieces that will form your flower, we find it helpful to press down with two fingers, turn them clockwise, and gently pull to the side. This helps the release the museum putty that holds them to the backing!
Next we’ll shape the elements of the flower!
For the petal, we pinch each point between our fingers, giving a slight crease upwards.
The Corona is shaped by gently curling upwards towards the middle.
Shape the Stamen by holding your thumb in the center, and then pull each piece upwards, bending the top.
Repeat the same process for the Style that we did with the Stamen.
Assembling the Flower:
To assemble the flower, we prefer to use hot glue, but any adhesive (like glue dots) would work. Simply use a small amount on each piece of the flower and work your way upwards, following the diagram on the back of the booklet.
Once the glue has dried, you can “fluff” the flower a little more by gently shaping each piece upwards with your fingers.
Attaching the Leaves and Vines:
Each Passion Flower Kit comes with 2 sets of leaves and vines (as well as two butterflies, which you can use to decorate around your flower!). Attaching these is were you can really get creative! For the vines, we prefer attaching them so that the curl of the vines go in opposite directions, but you can place them however you like on your flower. Add the vines to the back of the flower with another dab of hot glue.
Before we add the leaves, we’ll want to shape them. As we did with the petals of the flower, gently pinch each point of the leaves to make a crease.
Add another small dab of hot glue to the back of the flower to attach each leaf.
That’s it! We hope you’ve enjoyed creating your own Passion Flower, and can’t wait to see what you create!

Hello! Such a beautiful kit and helpful tutorial! I am wondering after assembling them, how to attach them to hair as shown on the Instagram post? Thank you!
